Varun holds MBA in Operations Management from Symbiosis Institute of Operations Management, Nashik and BE in Electronics & Communication with Hons. from Panjab University, Chandigarh. He is currently working as Manager – Strategy & Operations with KPIT Cummins Infosystems Ltd, Pune. Presently, he is also serving as an author for the APICS International Blog. Prior to doing MBA, he worked with Infosys Technologies. At Infosys, he received the organizational level award for knowledge management activities and also won several Telecom Quizzes. He is Certified in Production & Inventory Management (CPIM) by APICS, USA. He is also Green Belt Certified by KPMG. He was declared runner-up of CRISIL Young Thought Leader 2009 Award. He was also adjudged as the best student of MBA (Operations) – Class of 2010 by Symbiosis, Nashik. Some of his contributions have been published & recognised by International & National Magazines such as Business Barons, Facts For You, Electronics World, Electronics For You and Electronics Maker. His favourite pastimes include tweeting, blogging and playing chess & badminton.
